Items you need:
-Picture frame w/ glass still intact
-Chalk board spray paint
-Spray paint color of your choice (if you want a certain color)
-Sand paper
Now... All you do is take class out of frame, spray paint it with chalk board paint. **important side note if you don't read directions. After it drys it does recommend running side of chalk over the entire surface that has been painted. BEFORE drawing or writing on it. I did not do this and there are some lines I cannot get off from the first to-do list I wrote on there.
Next... Spray paint frame. I love the quick dry spray paint. I usually get mine at Walmart.
Let everything dry. Then if desired, sand and rough up edges of frame for a distressed look.
Put frame back together and hang. It's that easy. I have gotten frames from the D.I. And Walmart. You could even go to an antique store to find some awesome frames! Here are a few examples of mine and what I use them for.
These are so easy, fun, and inexpensive to make! Fun to draw on too!! I love mine in my kitchen with my to-do list for the week, gray one is for holiday drawings and of course Anson's monthly growth pictures! It's so fun!!! :)
